The transformation of Eldoret City into a world-class investment destination requires structured leadership and results-driven governance, Governor Dr. Jonathan Bii has said.
Speaking on Tuesday during the signing of a performance contract with the City of Eldoret Board chair, Dr. Bii urged members to provide strong leadership and develop clear, structured policies to steer the city toward sustainable growth.
Performance contracts serve as appraisal tools designed to ensure public officers commit to measurable targets, enhance efficiency, and improve service delivery.
“We all have a duty to grow this city and create an enabling environment that attracts both local and international investors,” Dr. Bii said.
Board Chairperson Alice Kositany pledged to offer consultative leadership focused on setting clear targets and pursuing a collective agenda aimed at positioning Eldoret as a leading destination for business and quality living.
City Manager Elzeba Busienei echoed these sentiments, affirming the management’s commitment to delivering on the city’s development goals.
